Here's my assignment #4 people...

Thoughts on other assignments:

- John: I noticed that I use heuristics often but never realized it! I tend to go with the "HDWDWW" (pg 56) approach with the reticent writers who I mostly work with. Many have such basic ideas in their papers but once I ask them to explain its significance (i.e the what, who, how, and why factor) they are then able to expand their ideas.

- Sara: the thinking aloud strategy works well from my tutoring experience. It is definitely a helpful tool you can use during your session.

- Christine: I find your views on graphic organizers to be very true. I think they can be a bit of a nuisance at times based on my teaching experience as well. This is why I stick to the list method especially when it comes to tutoring college students.
