KEYNOTE SPEAKER, EPA REGION 2 DIRECTOR JUDITH ENCK
Long Island’s Water and Energy Future Challenges in the Face of Climate Change
Farmingdale, NY – In honor of Earth Day, Citizens Campaign for the Environment has assembled  leaders in the fields of climate change, renewable energy, and Long Island drinking and surface water protection for a half day Earth Day Summit at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood from 12:30-5pm on Thursday.
Keynote Speaker Judith Enck, Region 2 Director for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will discuss the local impacts of global climate change, and expert speakers include:

·         Professor Scott Mandia, Suffolk County Community College

·         Dr. Chris Gobler, Stony Brook University

·         Brad Pnazek, Invenergy LLC

·         Carrie Meek Gallagher, DEC Region 1 Director

·         Tara Bono, EmPower Solar
