[Post-sustainability-committee] United Nations Youth Conference this Thursday in NYC

I am a co-chair for this year’s United Nations DPI/NGO conference (May 30 to June 1). Here’s the conference web site http://outreach.un.org/ngorelations/conference-2016/

There will be a  Youth Pre-Conference, on the theme -
Education for Global Citizenship: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals Together
Youth as Agents of Change

10 A.M. – 1 P.M.
Conference Room 1, UN Headquarters in New York

It would be great if we can bring people from LIU Post.  I will also be speaking at this event.
You need to notify the UN that you are coming by registering on this website for the April 28 event - http://outreach.un.org/ngorelations/2016/04/21/youth-session/

Transportation – You can take the LIRR to the UN or the N20 bus to Flushing (change at Great Neck) and then the No. 7 subway in Flushing to Grand Central Station.
After you register for the event, you should receive an email with instructors for how to gain access to this UN event. (You will probably need to pick up a pass across the street from the UN.)
