The Nursery Assistant Teacher at the Green Vale School:
? Observes the Lead Teacher and engages in reflective discussion
? Has a nurturing love for children
? Uses appropriate resources to strengthen teaching practice
? Develops goals
? Is involved in the classroom team structure and embraces the teaching partnership
? Provides and receives constructive criticism
? Contributes ideas and opinions; takes risks and explores new possibilities
? Participates willingly in professional development
? Understands and follows routines and structures within the school and the classroom
? Identifies strengths and areas of interest for growth; seeks challenges
? Values the experience of other teachers while developing one's own individual teaching style
? Attends all grade level meetings ? Both teachers are engaged with students in the classroom
? Promotes self-help skills and fosters children's independence
? Be a part of set-up and clean-up in the classroom

The Nursery assistant teacher hours are 8:15 AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Thursday, and 8:15 - 12:30 PM on Fridays.
