Hello,
We are graduate students of the Doctoral of Physical Therapy program from the College of Staten Island and we are conducting a survey as part of our research requirements for graduation. The purpose of the survey is to gather more information regarding the curriculum of Doctoral of Physical Therapy Programs and graduate students beliefs about their attitudes of conducting research.
We graciously ask that you forward our e-mail to your three most recent graduating classes so that they can participate in our short survey.
We greatly appreciate your help in our research! Please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Stephen Ingrassia, DPT Student 2014
Gary Mulligan, DPT Student 2014
Roman Tverdovskiy, DPT Student 2014

Dear Physical Therapist,
We are conducting a survey of 'Research Characteristics of Doctoral of Physical Therapy (DPT) Programs and its Effect on Attitudes of Clinicians on Research'. The procedures of the protocol have been approved by CUNY-wide IRB #363431-1.
The purpose of this survey is to explore the curriculum and its correlation to research in Doctoral of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs that are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) across the United States.
We are surveying a randomized list of accredited physical therapy programs. The questions are centered on your perspective about what is included in your curriculum with regards to research. Novel findings from this study will significantly improve our understanding on the features in the nationwide DPT curriculum, thus contributing to the entry-level curricula development in preparing graduates to conduct research. Several questions will be asked based on your opinions towards conducting research in general. This short survey will take approximately 5-7 minutes of your time.
Please click the following link to complete the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CSIDPTResearch
We greatly appreciate your time and support in this research project.

Sincerely,
Stephen Ingrassia, DPT Student 2014
Gary Mulligan, DPT Student 2014
Roman Tverdovskiy, DPT Student 2014
Andy Zhu, DPT Student 2014
Advisors: Dr. Wei Zhang, Dr. Jeffery Rothman & Dr. Michael Chiacchiero
