[Post-sustainability-committee] Feb 23rd Zoom Event: Long Island Sound Report Card - Friends of the Bays

A lot of progress has been made over several decades to improve water quality in the Long Island Sound.  The Sound is part EPA’s National Estuary Program which gives regional cleanup efforts some additional resources and national visibility.  Friends of the Bay is located a few miles from campus in Oyster Bay and has been working to strengthen relationships with LIU, which has included student internships and research projects.
