[Post-sustainability-committee] LIU - United Nations Conference Opportunity

The DPI NGO August Conference, is an opportunity for LIU faculty, student, staff to attend a high-level UN event designed for universities and other NGOs.

Student participation and attendance at these events are an integral element of these conferences.  The Call for Workshops requires immediate attention (June deadline).  There is also a call for Exhibitors.  Registration for this Aug 22/23 event is FREE.  (The registration process requires some patience and there are online videos that help explain the process if you need that.)  I recommend registering early.

Long Island University is recognized as a DPI associated NGO.  You should note this in your registration process.  The conference is audience is DPI (and ECOSOC) associated NGOs.

This conference will offer greater youth involvement that past conferences. This is an excellent opportunity for students to see their peers as global leaders inside the UN.

There are also opportunities to volunteer at the conference.
