[Post-sustainability-committee] November 7th Campus Sustainability Events

Each month, global tragedies lead the grim news cycle.  Today, the New York Times reports on Insect Armageddon<https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/29/opinion/insect-armageddon-ecosystem-.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Fopinion&action=click&contentCollection=opinion&region=rank&module=package&version=highlights&contentPlacement=9&pgtype=sectionfront&>, yet another new and disturbing global trend.  Together, let’s bring the best of our creative and critical thinking talents to these challenges and assess practices that can reverse disturbing trends.  Please make it a priority to join us for two important events on November 7th.  Circulate the Dropbox flyers to faculty and students.  Faculty, link these topics to your classes (culture, art, science, health, transformation, etc.).  Urge others to attend on November 7th at 5 pm (Cities of Peace) and Common Hour (Student Farm Ribbon Cutting).  Post and Distribute these flyers: Make Them Visible!  Explain to friends and colleagues why these events are important. – Scott Carlin
