Subject: August 1 United Nations Conference

On August 1st, the UN Department of Public Information will sponsor a one-day conference: Intergenerational Dialogues on the Sustainable Development Goals.  The conference web site is: https://outreach.un.org/ngorelations/  If you would like to attend, registration for this event is scheduled to begin later this month.  Long Island University is affiliated with DPI, so you should note that DPI affiliation when you register.   For offsite access, events will also be broadcast via http://webtv.un.org.

Please encourage college students to participate.  The intergenerational focus will give college students an important platform for engagement at this special event on sustainability.  Speakers for the conference will listed on the conference website as we get closer to the conference date in July.
