[Post-sustainability-committee] RAIN GARDEN PLANTING DATE MOVED

Hello all:

Due to the high influx of rain over the last 2 days, the raingarden planting tomorrow has been cancelled and postponed to this Friday. Volunteers should report to the end of the parking lot closest to the Public Safety/Facilities Services building. Supplies and gloves will be provided by Facilities. If interested in participating, please contact William.Achnitz at liu.edu<mailto:William.Achnitz at liu.edu> as soon as possible. Planting will go from 12-2pm this Friday. If you can only stay for a portion of the time, that will work too.

Also, tomorrow is the 5th Annual Sustainability Celebration at 7pm in the Tilles Atrium. Registration will start at 6:30pm. If you haven't RSVP'd yet, please do by also emailing William.Achnitz at liu.edu<mailto:William.Achnitz at liu.edu>. Guests are welcome too! It's going to be a great event!
