POST-EDUCATION Seminar on Observations/Tenure Process: Tues 12/3 (Glen Cove)

This Tuesday Dec 3rd  3:45p-5:15p at Robert M. Finley Middle School (Glen Cove school district) will be the final Noyce Teaching Seminar of the semester.

It will focus on Observations and Tenure, with details on these and other procedures new teachers will encounter during the probationary period.  The seminar will be co-led by two people from the Glen Cove School District: Cassie Shannon (the K-12 Mathematics Coordinator) and Tom Bergin (middle school mathematics teacher in his probationary period).  It will be a good opportunity to see a detailed account, for a specific school district, of what new teachers must do in order to get tenure.
