For those of you interested in either the first-year seminar or sophomore/junior learning community, please see the email below from John Lutz, inviting all interested to an informational meeting.

My understanding is that the VPAA will be in attendance on Monday.  The learning communities model is being endorsed by the administration and is also part of the strategic plan.

The learning communities committee will be holding two information sessions on first-year seminars and sophomore/junior learning communities in early October. If you have an idea for a first-year seminar or sophomore/junior learning community or are simply interested in learning more about these initiatives, please stop by and join the conversation. I’ve attached the proposal forms for both the first-year seminars and learning communities. The dates and locations of the meetings are included below:

Monday, October 5th 12:30-1:50, Hillwood 221
Thursday, October 8th 3:30-5:00, Hillwood 106
