Dear CEIT Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that we currently have a listserv specifically meant for members of the faculty council who represent the CEIT constituency to provide you with updates related to faculty governance.  This is that listserv.  These representatives are: Michele Dornisch, Shaireen Rasheed, Jeongeun Rhee, Lynn Cohen, Roberta Levitt, Scott Turns, and Stephanie White.

As you may know, the purpose of having representatives on the Faculty Council is for us to represent your views.  If you have anything you want to share, feel free to contact any of your representatives, or, for that matter, send an email to this account.

Further, to adequately represent you, we should periodically update you.  Currently, you do receive minutes summarizing all Faculty Council and Full Faculty meetings, and these minutes are also posted on the Faculty Council Infoshare site, which you should all be able to access!!  So, information disseminated here will not include those summaries.

However, there is other information that you might benefit from having. I will be forwarding you a summary from today's Strategic Planning meeting and from the most recent Board of Trustees meeting shortly.

Please note that should you be uninterested in the information being disseminated in this forum, you need only look at the "to" field and act accordingly when an email comes from this account!
