Fifth Biannual Trans Symposium
New Date: November 2016
Important Symposium Dates
Symposium Date: November 2016
Call for Papers: January 2016
Proposal Deadline: March 2016
Presented by the Psychotherapy Center for Gender and Sexuality (PCGS), a division of the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, the bi-annual transgender mental health symposium aims to educate, inform, and expand dialogue on the topic of working clinically with the transgender communities and understanding transgender experience through psychoanalytic theory. Every two years, mental health clinicians from around the world present on topics related to how the trans* experience has informed, complicated, and illuminated their work in individual, group, and family clinical practice.
This year, we will be holding our symposium in the fall. We hope that you will be able to join us for the beautiful autumn in New York City for two days of conversation and learning.
Check our website or subscribe to our newsletter to be invited to submit your proposals in January 2016!
