Title: Administrative Assistant - New York City Teaching Fellows Program
Campus: Brooklyn

Job Duties:  This is a part-time position (17.5 hours/week) that provides clerical and administrative support to the Assistant Director and Director of the NYCTF Program.  The administrative assistant handles a wide range of tasks and must be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-pace environment. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are imperative as is a high level of professionalism. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Principal Responsibilities:

  *   Records management
  *   Meeting preparation
  *   Student correspondence
  *   Social media, web and newsletter maintenance
  *   Budgetary matters

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Applicants should have at least three years’ experience in administrative support or related work/volunteer experience; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary:   Commensurate with experience.
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Starting Date:  As soon as possible.
