People & Systems is assisting the Center for Urban Community Services (www.cucs.org) with their search for a Program/Project Coordinator at their groundbreaking re-entry program on Riker’s Island.

OPPORTUNITY:
As the Project Coordinator, you will join a high functioning team to implement ground-breaking services for women leaving Riker's Island each year.  Reporting to an Assistant Program Director, you will have an opportunity to supervise a team of counselors with administrative, programmatic and service delivery responsibilities.  You will attain a thorough understanding of the population served and a demonstrated ability to teach/guide others in the application of good practices, ensuring staff productivity and the achievement of measurable outcomes. If you have both the people skills necessary in creating an open and effective work environment coupled with the systems skills to ensure quality outcomes/measurable success, this is a great next career move. QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires an advanced degree, 2+ years of programmatic experience in a human services environment (public benefits assistance experience highly preferred) and a readiness to/experience in managing both people and processes at the highest standards.  Exemplary communications and proven computer skills are a must.  Passion for assisting those seeking to improve their lives and transitioning into contributing members of society is strongly preferred. Transportation to and from Riker's Island is provided by CUCS.
