[Bkn-ipad-user-group] PDFs open as PDF in library data bases, not always in iPad. Also, can no longer download PDFs directly to iPad.

Hi Christiana,
You can open a word document for viewing in GoodReader, but you can't edit it with that program, it's as if it were a PDF file.  I did purchase a program called Office2HD that lets me edit word and excel documents, but it's pretty limited.  The limited ability to work with word and excel documents is one of the biggest criticisms of the iPad...
