Yani: I agree with you, as far as my ESL students as concerned. One has a serious fear of writing, to the point he sweat and his paper looks like it went through a mini rainstorm. I feel I may have to introduce breathing exercises and/or meditation in our sessions.

John C: I with you man. 90% of The Practical Tutor will probably not even work with students I work with. Besides the basic acronyms and diagrams, the rest is just to know, unless I will be working with very experienced writers.

Christina: I understand you frustration; however, common is sensed but today sense isn't common. Many people I know nowadays have no clue why that wiggly red line forms beneath misspelled and/or redundant words. I've learned to not assume anything anymore. Also, of course people have to bring some sort of enthusiasm but there is always a way to get people excited about learning; you just have to learn that person and work/connect with him/her and bring something interesting to the table.
